Job Role:

The successful candidate will be accountable for managing our financial year-end audit, liaising with auditors, and maintaining records according to financial and audit requirements.

In addition, they will be responsible for developing and maintaining compliance to group, entity, and regulatory regulations, processes, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cash flow management: Complies with group requirements in terms of cash flow management and reporting of cash flow position as well as requirements on project and overhead expenses.
  2. Financial Reporting: Oversees month-end accounting process, performs more complex balance sheet reconciliations such as WIP & revenue recognition, ensures full monthly financial compliance (e.g. SARS).
  3. Governance and Controls: Files and maintains records of all source documents according to financial and audit requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BCom Financial Accounting / CIMA / CA(SA)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in manufacturing or construction environment
  • Knowledge and extensive experience with IT systems such as MS Excel and ERP systems (Preference to Syspro)
