Role Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Advisory & Compliance:
    • Provide expert guidance on corporate and personal income tax matters.
    • Develop tax planning and optimization strategies.
    • Review financial data for tax compliance.
    • Assist with tax returns, SARS audits, tax emigration, and exchange control applications.
    • Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Business Development & Leadership:
    • Manage tax advisory pipeline, invoicing, and financials.
    • Drive business growth through networking and client engagement.
    • Lead client meetings and proposals.
    • Oversee family office and compliance services.
    • Mentor junior staff and lead training initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or CA(SA); HDip Tax/MCom Tax is advantageous.
  • Tax Practitioner and/or professional membership (e.g., SAIT, or SAICA).
  • 6–8 years' experience in tax consulting, preferably in international tax advisory.
