Retail Store Manager Opportunity

Pro Select Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Bayside Mall in Cape Town. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving store performance, fostering a positive customer experience, and leading a high-performing store team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Development: Identify training and coaching needs, emphasizing talent management and succession planning to drive store success.
  • Recruitment and Performance Management: Recruit, administer, and manage store team performance in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Experience: Implement processes to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, encompassing business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, visual standards, customer feedback, and general housekeeping.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Enforce overall compliance by conducting thorough compliance checks through defined processes, mitigating risks, and ensuring adequate stock on hand.
  • Sales and Brand Awareness: Explore and propose new opportunities to boost sales and enhance brand awareness, providing feedback on in-store product performance to the support centre.
  • Operational Planning: Collaborate with management on operational action plans, sales performance increase, and store expenditure monitoring based on sales and profitability reports.
  • Stock Management: Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns, ensuring effective stock management and maintaining the stockroom's overall upkeep to meet housekeeping standards.

Only candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a store management role will be considered.
