Hydroecological Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Hydroecological Analyst to join our team at SkillsMap. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will provide expert advice and assistance in managing and compiling reports relating to wetland and soil assessments.

• Independently plan and conduct field surveys for data collection in support of specialist studies.
• Apply habitat survey techniques such as GPS, aerial photography, sonar images, and maps to identify and delineate soils.
• Carry out field work under strenuous conditions, identifying and delineating wetlands in accordance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc. degree (Honours/MSc preferred) in Environmental Sciences/Soil Science and hydropedology background and vegetation identification is preferred.
