AGC Mining Recruitment Pty Ltd seeks a seasoned professional to lead our Renewable Energy Projects pipeline as Head of Renewable Energy.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with expertise in project development, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement to drive our Green Metal vision forward.

• Conceptualize and lead an optimized power sourcing strategy to ensure reliable power solutions.
• Drive the Renewables Energy Projects pipeline and be the driving force behind our Green Metal producer vision.
• Engage with stakeholders, advocate, and liaise with government and statutory bodies.
• Build and lead the Renewables Energy Project team and enable them to implement projects.
• Manage the renewables energy project and process, partner lock-in, and management thereof, ensuring security of reliable power at the right price.
• Evaluate and ensure all projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.

• A strong track record in project development and getting projects over the line (FC financial close), in either wind or solar or a combination using battery energy storage solutions.
• MUST have experience in a leading role in closing a Private Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and confident in their abilities as a subject matter expert who can operate alone.
• Autonomous worker, with the ability to operate two levels above and two levels below job function if required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent (MBA / PMP advantageous)
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the renewables industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Private Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) is essential.
