About the Role

As an Oracle and SQL Database Support Specialist at ManpowerGroup SA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our databases.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to end-users, troubleshooting database issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.

This role requires strong technical skills, particularly with MSSQL and PLSQL, as well as experience with Oracle version 11G and MSSQL from 2012 onwards.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of ITIL and SDLC, with strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing exceptional support to end-users on SQL Database used in the company environment.
  • Troubleshooting database issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
  • Designing and optimizing database structures for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with DBAs, developers, vendors, and professionals to deliver quality service.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12.
  • Formal IT qualification (National Diploma/Certificate, CompTIA, Microsoft or similar certification) or currently studying towards completing a Degree/Diploma or Certificate in IT.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation.
  • MCSA: SQL Servers 2012 onwards.
  • Oracle DBA support 11G onwards.
  • 2-3 years' experience with MSSQL and PLSQL.
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL and SDLC.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
