  • Leadership & Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring safe and efficient production.
    • Lead and mentor a team of machinists, technicians, and support staff.
    • Collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize production processes.
  • Production & Scheduling
    • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet project deadlines.
    • Monitor workflow and assign tasks to ensure efficient resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with the Production Manager and engineers to improve production processes.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
    • Millwright or Mechanical Fitter & Turner degree.
    • 7+ years of experience in a machine shop environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
    • Extensive experience in mechanical engineering manufacturing, including knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of CNC machining and setting, manual machining, and related manufacturing processes.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
    • Ability to manage resources and timelines effectively.
