About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to drive strategic initiatives and deliver business value to our esteemed client's software company. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in business rules and processes to inform project direction and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion agile methodologies by facilitating ceremonies and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Consult with stakeholders to gather insights into their structure, functions, and products/services, and translate these into functional requirements.
  • Engage in various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including system design analysis, scoping, and estimation.
  • Facilitate user story sessions and backlog grooming using Agile tools, and manage small engagements from end to end.
  • Analyze APIs for seamless system integration and develop high-quality web and mobile applications for leading organizations.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture and build strong relationships with stakeholders, and research and apply cutting-edge technologies to drive business transformation.
  • Develop Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications, and 'as-is' and 'to-be' process flows, and create wireframes and UI designs to document customer journeys.
  • Translate requirements for both business and technical audiences, and hold team members accountable to a standard of excellence.
  • Facilitate workshops and present to customer stakeholders, and build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Use structured techniques such as design thinking, UML, BPMN, and process flows for diagramming software solutions, and adapt to new domains quickly to understand business problems and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrate maturity, advanced soft skills, and the capability to influence change within your team, and engage with stakeholders, including end users, development teams, product owners, and executives.
  • Coordinate with teams to meet quality standards and timelines, and identify opportunities for service improvements and strategic alignment.
  • Mentor and grow others, and ensure compliance with data security and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, other Sciences, or a BCom in Information Systems.
  • Minimum 6 years experience working as a business analyst within an agile software development team.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in business systems and processes.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into detailed specifications and interface with technical teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and bring your unique contributions to a team environment.
