This position involves producing required labor hours through maintenance and repair work, adhering to Company quality and efficiency standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Fault-finding and diagnosis on Volvo products by interpreting product performance and failure.
  2. Interpreting and implementing information in Volvo manual and service literature.
  3. Following directives provided in workshop manuals to produce work of Volvo acceptable standards.
  4. Ensuring excellence in customer service delivery through meticulous procedure following.
  5. Providing comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of components, failures, observations, actions, and recommendations.
  6. Complying with ISO 9001 and other safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  1. Matric/N3 qualifications.
  2. Three years' dealership experience in heavy commercial vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  3. The ability to read all relevant measuring equipment.
  4. Knowledge/skills to effect correct repair work.
  5. Ability to interpret technical manuals and specifications.
  6. Proficiency in English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
