Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing projects focused on carton and parcel movement within our warehouses. Your responsibilities will include overseeing automation and controls design, managing contractor RFP processes, and ensuring successful installation and adoption of projects and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing projects related to carton and parcel movement, with a focus on automation and controls
  • Managing the end-to-end process of contractor RFPs, from vendor selection to contract negotiation
  • Overseeing the installation process of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of new solutions and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in the warehousing industry
  • Programming skills in Python, PLC, Network and connectivity setup, data analytics
  • Proficiency in Linux, PLC programming, Power BI or Pyramid, Data Basis
  • Familiarity with Industrial Communication protocols (such as ProfiNet, ProfiBus, Ethernet/IP & AS-Interface)
  • Basic Electricity Competency (3 phase vs Single phase)
