About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Drafter - Eplan V8 Expert to join our team at Network Contracting. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and other technical drawings using Eplan V8.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create high-quality electrical designs using Eplan V8, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, wiring lists, and bill of materials (BOM), to support project delivery.
  3. Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
  5. Identify and resolve design issues, errors, and discrepancies in electrical schematics and documentation.
  6. Leverage Eplan V8 features and tools to enhance design efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  7. Implement design changes and updates as required, ensuring all modifications are accurately reflected in the documentation.
  8. Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience as a draughtsperson with a strong focus on electrical schematics and control panel design using Eplan V8.
  3. Proficiency in Eplan V8, with a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in technical drawing and documentation.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address design challenges and provide practical solutions.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
