The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working with financial software systems. You will be required to work closely with our financial manager to ensure that all financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Key Performance Areas:
- Ensure timely completion of finished production orders with accurate consumption of consumables and costing.
- Conduct monthly stock takes with a stock clerk and review and sign off all stock sheets to verify stock variances.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules, including bank asset finance and capex code issuing.
- Assist with compilation of statutory returns and provide supporting schedules and evidence as required.
- Oversee daily monitoring and clearing of system suspense buckets by reviewing applicable reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Availability to travel locally as required.
