Job Title: Investment Fund Operations Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Investment Fund Operations Associate to join our team at Rory Mackie & Associates. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Fund Operations team, overseeing service delivery from 3rd party service providers, and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of service delivery from 3rd party service providers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Attendance and/or contribution to scheduled 3rd party service provider's service meetings.

• Ensuring attention to detail around 3rd party service provider's processes, reporting, and systems, identifying and mitigating any risks.

• Gaining a full understanding of end-to-end processes performed by 3rd party service providers to ensure outcomes meet client expectations.

Team Functions:

• Performing hands-on roles in executing responsibilities, ensuring all tasks are completed within deadlines as per procedures and task lists.

• Escalating, managing, and resolving operational queries and escalations in a timely manner using designed systems.

• Building relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, client service, client group, and other operations teams.

• Ensuring instructions are submitted and actioned accurately and timeously using the appropriate systems.

• Identifying key risks and ensuring effective controls are in place, both at the service provider and internally, considering existing procedures and how to improve these to close gaps in service delivery.

• Conducting data analyses to investigate ongoing and ad-hoc operational issues, exploring ways to reduce these using technology.

Requirements:

• New CA(SA) or Degree qualification with Asset Management or Financial Servicing auditing experience.

• HyperionDev, MS PowerBI, SQL, and Python skills advantageous.

• Knowledge of FinSwitch advantageous.
