Job Description

Ability Executive Recruitment seeks a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial data, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyse financial trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with management to develop long-term financial strategies.
DutiesFinancial Planning and Strategy

The Financial Manager will assist in strategic financial planning initiatives, such as expansion projects or capital investments. They will provide financial analysis and support for decision-making, including evaluating the financial feasibility of new initiatives.

  • Key Tasks:
  • Assist in developing budgets and forecasts for the shopping center.
  • Monitor budget performance and identify areas of concern or potential savings.
Financial Reporting and Analysis

The Financial Manager will prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. They will analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Key Deliverables:
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting

The Financial Manager will assist in the development of budgets and forecasts for the shopping center. They will monitor budget performance and identify areas of concern or potential savings.

  • Key Outputs:
  • Collaborate with management to adjust budgets and forecasts as needed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management

The Financial Manager will oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management. They will manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of rent and other revenues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor cash flow to optimise working capital management.
Internal Controls and Compliance

The Financial Manager will establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy. They will conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Key Tasks:
  • Implement corrective actions to address any deficiencies or risks identified during audits.
Financial Systems Management

The Financial Manager will oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, namely the MDA system. They will train staff on the use of financial systems and ensure data integrity.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to streamline financial operations.
