Job Description

The Aftersales Technician plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing technical issues with vehicles after delivery to customers.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Performing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Warranty Work: Conducting warranty repairs and maintenance on vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards.
  • Customer Support: Providing technical assistance and support to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues they may have with their vehicles.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • National Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Repair, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade.
  • Technical training in automotive repair, heavy vehicle mechanics, or a related field.
  • Apprenticeship experience in a relevant trade.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industry-recognized certifications, such as Trade Certificate, City & Guilds, Bus Technician Certification, or other relevant manufacturer certifications.
