Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement effective industrial relations strategies across the organization, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on labor law matters, including dispute resolution, training, and representation at CCMA and NBCRFLI forums.
  • Manage employee misconduct cases from start to finish, ensuring fairness and consistency in decision-making processes.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel on IR matters, including Labour Court proceedings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IR/ER management role, preferably in logistics/manufacturing industry.
  • LLB degree (admitted attorney advantageous).
  • Experience working with large teams (2000+ personnel).
  • Valid SA driver's license.
  • Clear ITC and criminal record.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Must reside on the East Rand.
  • Extensive knowledge of labor legislation, CCMA, and NBCRFLI procedures.
