Overview

The Engineering Innovation Specialist drives technological advancements and ensures the successful launch of market-driven products. This role leads the development of scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems, mentors junior developers, and translates business objectives into innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Innovation and Product Development: Identify opportunities for technological innovation and lead R&D projects to create new technologies or enhance existing ones that align with market demands.
  • Design, Build, and Maintain Efficient Code: Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable code that meets industry best practices and supports product launches.
  • Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions: Convert business objectives into technical applications that are market-ready and aligned with organizational goals.
  • System Performance, Security, and Scalability: Continuously improve system performance, security, and scalability to meet market demands and support product growth.
  • Identify and Mitigate Bottlenecks and Bugs: Proactively resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues to optimize system performance, particularly in preparation for product launches.
  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and building a strong development team.
  • Crafting and Consuming APIs: Design, implement, and maintain APIs that ensure seamless data flow and integration across applications.
  • Adhering to Best Practices in Coding and Deployment: Commit to industry best practices in coding, testing, debugging, and deployment to deliver market-ready products.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest industry trends in backend development and innovation, adopting new technologies as needed.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Effectively resolve development issues to ensure smooth operation and stability, especially during product launches.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in backend development with a focus on launching market-driven products.
  • Expertise in NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, and related frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, performance, and security standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools like Docker and GitHub CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and code review processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • A minimum of 5+ years of backend development experience focused on market-driven product launches.
