About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in shrinkage control, security operations, and customer service delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that all security requirements are met, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing three retail outlets at the Mall of Africa Shopping Centre
  • Implementing shrinkage control measures to reduce stock losses
  • Coordinating security operations to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Providing excellent customer service to our clients
  • Developing and implementing action plans to prevent stock losses
  • Collaborating with security officers to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Investigating incidents and reporting on findings

Requirements:

  • MATRIC certificate
  • PsiRA Grade A or B registration and accreditation
  • At least 5 years of retail experience, preferably in a retail store environment
  • Experience as a site manager with a security complement
  • Knowledge and experience in investigation techniques
  • Stock loss and shrinkage action plan knowledge
  • Staff management experience
  • Computer literacy
  • No criminal record
  • Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills
  • Strong planning, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver's license
  • Will work day shifts (Monday to Friday) and every alternate weekend
  • Must live in close proximity to the Midrand area
