Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and purchasing materials from local and international suppliers;

  • Developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to procurement and supply chain management;

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Purchasing Management or a related field;
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in buying and procurement in the electronic manufacturing industry;
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and software;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Sage Evolution;
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally;
  • South African citizenship;
