Job Description

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Kandua's cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, efficiency, and security. As a Platform / DevOps Engineer, you will drive improvements in security, automation, and operations to create a seamless environment for our engineering team. Your primary goal is to ensure that software development processes are fast, smooth, and secure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  2. Enhancing Security: Implement best practices for infrastructure security and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Collaboration and Automation: Define, implement, and scale CI/CD pipelines across the organization to streamline deployments and ensure reliable releases.
  4. Infrastructure Strategy: Evaluate tools for automation and management, defining our future infrastructure strategy.
  5. Monitoring and Incident Management: Implement and optimize observability tools to ensure system health, logging, and alerting.
  6. Optimizing Performance: Ensure high availability and reliability by optimizing application and infrastructure performance.
  7. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs, gather feedback, and continuously improve the platform.
  8. Disaster Recovery and Backup: Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
