We are seeking an experienced Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Tumaini Consulting.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert cost planning and management services on commercial and mixed-use developments in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed cost plans and elemental estimates for construction projects.
  • Measure and negotiate final accounts with principal contractors and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular cost control and budgeting activities to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on private sector development projects.
  • Strong background in quantity surveying and cost management.
  • Proficiency in WinQS and Dim X software.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of R550,000 per annum, plus benefits and a dynamic work environment.
