Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Perform incoming inspection procedures to ensure products meet our quality standards.
  • Sampling and Testing: Conduct quality control on sampled products in the warehouse, flagging and escalating any issues to the quality manager.
  • Non-Conformance Resolution: Assist in resolving non-conformance and improving food safety and quality systems and processes.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stock picking and order consolidation, as well as perform general stock control operations in the warehouse.
  • Stock Takes: Participate in regular stock takes to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform general warehouse duties, including assisting with quality checks at receiving.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years proven quality control experience
  • Skills: Computer literate (MS Office), excellent verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans and English), and knowledge of the food and beverage or retail industry
  • Additional Requirements: A valid forklift licence would be advantageous, and the ability to work on weekends, public holidays, and overtime

Salary: R7,500 per month
