Job Description
At HR Studio Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's accounting processes, records, and financial data.

The Role:
Cashbook management: You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of cash transactions, including bank reconciliations and deposit allocations.
Invoicing: You will be responsible for generating invoices for students, members, and the public in a timely and efficient manner.
Schedule of examiner and contractor payments: You will assist in preparing schedules of examiner and contractor payments for submission on a quarterly basis and coordination with the Payroll administrator by the end of April each year.
Maintaining supplier list: You will ensure that the supplier list is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current status of suppliers.
BEE certification process: You will manage the BBBEE certification process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
VAT calculations and submissions: You will perform VAT calculations, reconciliations, submissions, and payments on a cash basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Contract management: You will manage contracts and relationships with external service providers, ensuring optimal outcomes for the company.
Assistance with trial balances and annual financial statements: You will provide support in preparing trial balances and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Management accounts preparation: You will assist in the preparation of management accounts, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
Payment processing: You will process payments on Standard Bank's business online platform and debit order collections for members.
Audit support: You will provide support during the external audit process, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
Departmental budget compilation: You will assist in compiling departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Ledger account reconciliation: You will maintain accurate ledger accounts, ensuring timely reconciliation and accurate reporting.
CSD database maintenance: You will maintain the CSD database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
Vendor form submission: You will complete and submit vendor forms as required, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Finance and student sub-system reconciliation: You will reconcile the finance and student sub-systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Stakeholder communication: You will communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

About You
We are looking for an individual who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will have:
- CGISA qualification (with accounting subjects) or a recognized accounting degree;
- At least 5 years of accounting experience;
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and a recognized accounting package (Sage Evolution is an advantage).

Estimated Salary: R450,000 - R600,000 per annum based on location and experience.
