Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of multiple projects focused on remediating hygiene deliverables for the technology organisation. This role requires strong organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track the execution of technology-focused OKRs and strategic rollouts within the financial services group.
  • Provide visibility on key multiyear initiatives in execution across the group.
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and their assignment to various project phases.
  • Establish a work plan for project activities, iterations or phases.
  • Manage and lead steering committees for the strategy execution tracking projects.
  • Produce comprehensive reporting packs for the steering committees and other executive committees highlighting progress, risks, issues, and potential mitigants.
  • Collaborate closely with execution teams to ensure effective tracking and escalation of project activities.
  • Monitor project finances where applicable, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Identify and communicate project dependencies, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of strategy execution projects to the Office of the CIO.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of technology-related projects and processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with teams across business units and geographic locations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in producing comprehensive reports and presentations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
