Handyman Technician

Telebest is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as providing general maintenance services.

• Perform tasks in accordance with job cards (work orders) issued by clients and the company.
• Conduct investigations, evaluations, and restorations on identified equipment malfunctions.
• Carry out minor repairs and services on all electrical equipment and appliances as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform office movement-related tasks, including installation of furniture, shop fitting, repair of doors, locks, handles, windows, replacement of ceiling and carpet tiles, and general paint work.
• Carry out minor repairs and services on all plumbing-related equipment as per SLAs.
• Perform tier 1 inspections and repairs on all air-conditioning-related equipment.
• Conduct inspections and report back on all fire and access equipment, including fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire hydrants, fire detectors, and access control equipment.
• Assist the Artisan with major repairs and services.

• N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical) qualification.
• Matric (Senior Certificate) qualification.
• Valid South African driver's license.
• Three years of relevant experience in handyman maintenance tasks.
• Basic training on hand tools, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
