Expert Labour Law Advisor

We are looking for a senior labour law advisor to join our team at Labournet. As a senior labour law consultant, you will provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of labour law.

Responsibilities:
  • Retain and service clients with regards to all labour law issues.
  • Provide training to clients as per Labournet standards.
  • Visit clients once per month and contact them according to schedule.
Typical Labour Law Issues:
  • Chairing disciplinary inquiries.
  • Drafting judgments for clients.
  • Assisting with issuing warnings to ensure compliance.
  • Drafting and implementing policies.
Complex Labour Law Issues:
  • Strike management.
Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary R 22,950.

Requirements:
  • Candidate should have a customer-first mindset.
  • 3 years B. Degree or equivalent in HR / IR / LLB or related field.
  • 2 years or more experience in labour law (consultations on retrenchments, strikes, chairing disciplinary hearings, dispute resolution, etc.).
  • Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of labour law.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to function effectively within a pressured and fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
