Job Title: Industrial Engineering Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Engineering Division assumes responsibility for ensuring the efficient repair and preventive maintenance of the company's plant and equipment. As an Industrial Engineering Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the engineering division for the Cape Town region.

A key aspect of this position involves assessing and establishing optimal repair techniques, as well as providing cost analyses for repair services and fabricated components.

Requirements:
  • Hold a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable University or Technikon.
  • Possess 5 to 10 years of pertinent work experience within a demanding heavy industrial setting, actively contributing as a practicing engineer.
  • Demonstrate at least 5 years of managerial experience within operational environments, underscoring the ability to lead effectively.
  • Exhibit essential diagnostic skills and a penchant for logical thinking, with the capacity to make sound decisions promptly, even under pressure.

Salary:

R500,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience.
