Job Summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. As a global leader in innovative technology, we are looking for a passionate individual to be part of our dynamic team, where creativity meets cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial statements and manage the control assessment system (CATS).
  • Assist with cash flow management, act as contact for external auditors, and provide needed information.
  • Complete corporate income tax and related schedules, assist with transfer pricing documentation, and handle provisional tax, deferred tax, and monthly VAT returns.
  • Manage statutory submissions and filings, file expat tax returns, and resolve tax issues.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, conduct bi-annual fixed asset and inventory counts, and prepare fixed asset reports.
  • Support the month-end closing, back-up the Finance Manager, prepare journals, and ensure accurate expense recording.
  • Assist with monthly reports, manage deadlines, and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • SAIT accreditation is preferred, and an MCom in Taxation is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of carbon tax is highly beneficial, and 5 to 8 years post-articles exposure is essential.
