Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Buyers Assistant to join our dynamic procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will support the purchasing team in sourcing, ordering, and managing supplies, while assisting with administrative tasks related to catering and food service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Support: Assist the Senior Buyer in sourcing and ordering food, beverages, and catering supplies from approved vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and optimize the supply chain to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels for catering items, ensuring stock levels are maintained and reorder points are identified to avoid shortages or excess.
Requirements
- A degree or qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative support role is preferred, especially in the foodservice, catering, or hospitality industries.
