The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring, maintenance, and operational management of our data centres, ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of all critical infrastructure.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent customer relationship skills to ensure seamless service delivery, efficient incident management, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. NOC Operations & Management:
  • Lead and manage the Data Centre NOC team to monitor and maintain all data centre infrastructure.
  • Ensure 24/7 proactive monitoring of data centre systems, identifying and resolving incidents to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement NOC policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, maintenance activities, and system performance.
Infrastructure & Technical Oversight:
  • Oversee the health and performance of network equipment, cooling systems (HVAC), power backup systems (UPS, generators, DC plants), and AC units.
  • Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and support.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential failures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding data centre operations.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Certifications in Data Centre Management (CDCP, CDCS, or equivalent) are beneficial.
