Job Description:
  • To manage and lead the engineering and construction management team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians
  • Developing and implementing project plans and schedules
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs and budgets
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with projects

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Engineering related studies
  • Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist or SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Manager
  • 10-12 years of experience in engineering and construction management, of which 4 years in a senior role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge in water-related projects like water & sanitation, reservoir or water retaining structures, water pipelines, and pump stations
  • Based in Free State and willing to relocate

Salary: R 600 000 P/A
