Job Title: Actuarial Supervisor - Capital Reporting

Old Mutual is seeking an experienced Actuarial Supervisor to join our Group Actuarial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering Old Mutual's regulatory capital and other risk metric reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Historical reporting of capital for regulatory submissions and external publication
  • Capital forecasting and projections as part of the annual Business Plan process
  • Scenario and sensitivity testing of capital levels under various scenarios
  • Product support through calculating the impact of new products on overall capital
  • Business support through providing analysis of proposed balance sheet changes on overall capital
Requirements:
  • Considerable progress with actuarial examinations
  • At least 4-6 years' actuarial experience with financial/capital reporting experience
  • Strong technical skills in actuarial reserving and analysis of surplus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
