Theatre Nurse Position

RPO's client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Scrub Nurse to join their theatre department in a private hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and professional nurse to be part of a leading healthcare team, providing high-quality care and ensuring the best outcomes for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies
- Ensure the sterility of the operating area by adhering to strict infection control protocols
- Monitor the patient's vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all nursing care provided during surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and a seamless surgical experience
- Participate in the surgical team's briefings and debriefings to enhance patient care
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients in the recovery room
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scrub nurse in a theatre setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
