Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of technical staff to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance factory efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and ensure that all product specifications are clearly defined and manufactured within the prescribed guidelines.
  • Manage investigations, root cause analysis, and resolution of manufacturing or product issues.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of technical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Handle technical and quality-related queries and responses with customers.
  • Manage relationships with external laboratories and negotiate rates.
  • Engage with senior team members on technical issues and contribute to decision-making for capital equipment purchases.
  • Oversee internal audits and GMP audits.
  • Manage cleaning programs, equipment, policies, and regimes.
  • Maintain and improve the HACCP system.
  • Ensure Health & Safety measures are in place in reporting departments and the plant environment.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Food Science or Diploma in Food Technology or Consumer Science.
  • 10+ years of experience in a food production environment with senior management experience.
  • Willingness to relocate.
