Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily processing for the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and analyze monthly reconciliations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow management and forecasting.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
  • Develop and implement financial models and processes to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify and prioritize ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Matric certification (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required).
  • SAIPA/CIMA registration (required).
  • Fluent in Afrikaans (required).
  • IT/ICT industry experience (advantageous).
Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior financial role, managing a team of accountants and clerks.
  • Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and IFRS.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
  • SAGE and Pastel Partner experience.
  • Ability to develop financial and operational models.
