Develop and implement a comprehensive IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Establish IT Governance FrameworkEstablish and maintain an effective IT governance framework that ensures the organization's IT practices are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Manage IT RisksIdentify, assess, and manage IT risks that could impact the organization's operations, reputation, and financial stability.
Ensure ComplianceEnsure that the organization's IT practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including POPIA, ETC Act, and Cybercrimes Act.
Develop and Implement Compliance ProgramsDevelop and implement compliance programs that ensure the organization's IT practices meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and Report on ComplianceMonitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, highlighting areas of exposure to management.
Collaborate with StakeholdersCollaborate with internal stakeholders to perform risk analysis on information hosted by third parties and controls implemented, ensuring the maintenance of acceptable levels of residual risk.
Facilitate Audits and Compliance ActivitiesFacilitate IT audits and compliance activities, including internal and external audits, to ensure the organization's IT practices meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop and Implement IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity PlansDevelop and implement IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans that ensure the organization's IT systems and operations are resilient and can recover from disruptions.
Manage IT Risk RegisterManage the IT risk register, identifying and mitigating IT risks that could impact the organization's operations, reputation, and financial stability.
Develop and Implement IT Governance Metrics and Performance IndicatorsDevelop and implement IT governance metrics and performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of the organization's IT governance framework.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in IT or Related Field
A bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is required.
5 Years of Experience in IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance is required.
CGEIT, CRISC, CISA, GIAC CertificationsCGEIT, CRISC, CISA, GIAC certifications are advantageous.
