We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Manager to join our team at IOCO. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our project.

About the Role:

The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our project, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the successful roll-out of the project.
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts considering the estimated project costs.
  • Generate accurate financial reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the project, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage the capital structure of the project, including debt and equity financing, to optimize funding efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including government entities, financial institutions, and project partners to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.
  • Monitor financial performance against benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

About You:

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects and complex financial structures.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy projects, infrastructure financing, and public-private partnerships (PPPs).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budget management, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions based on data and insights.
