  • Design product layouts for retail leaflets, digital/social media, and POS materials.
  • Ensure that artwork is accurate, visually appealing, and compliant with client corporate identity specifications and print-ready requirements.
  • Set up artwork according to briefing, print or digital requirements, and corporate identity specifications.
  • Verify all content and information are accurate before beginning a job.
  • Produce and check proofs against required specifications before delivering to clients.
  • Make corrections as needed until client satisfaction is achieved.
  • Check color separations and overprint electronically.
  • Analyze, identify, and advise the technical team or repro supervisor of potential print issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Accuracy of produced artwork.
  • Turnaround time for proofs and delivery to clients.
  • Accurate time tracking for all work performed.
  • Maintaining high standards of client brand integrity.
  • Adhering to client and management requests to exceed expectations.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in DTP and 10 years of relevant experience in DTP design/layout with a solid knowledge of the printing and digital industries.
  • Experience in creating leaflet layouts for retail groups.
  • Understanding of desktop publishing skills and techniques on an Apple Mac platform.
  • Proficiency in DTP software packages.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • Open plan casual office space.
  • 40 hours a week (overtime as required).
  • 08:00 - 17:00
