Job Description

We are looking for a talented and dedicated professional who can provide high-quality legal advice and support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert legal advice on a range of issues related to heritage management, including cultural heritage, museums, and galleries;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and address potential legal risks and issues;
  • Representing Heritage Western Cape in court or other legal proceedings as required;

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with a focus on heritage management or a related field. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
