We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Constructrecruit, specializing in luxury residential projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience working on high-end homes and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including framing, doors, windows, and cabinetry for luxury residential properties.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to meet client specifications.
  • Work with a variety of materials such as wood, metal, and drywall to achieve top-tier finishes.
  • Collaborate with other trades and site managers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Supervise and check on sub-contractors appointed to the project.

Requirements:

  • Preferably Trade tested or full apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in carpentry, preferably within luxury or high-end residential projects.
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Expertise in fine finishes, including detailed woodwork, trims, and custom features.
  • Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment, and ability to work with various materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
