Job Description

The role of an Expert Food Knowledge Strategist at Datonomy Solutions is multifaceted and challenging. Key responsibilities include:

  • Content Planning: Develop a comprehensive knowledge strategy and plan to achieve our objectives, aligning with different content and information cycles within our ecosystem.
  • Information Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and acquire high-quality content and data from diverse sources, collaborating closely with stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and publicly available resources.
  • Content Curation: Thoroughly review and curate content and data that meets strict quality criteria, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with our values.
  • Knowledge Organisation: Collaborate with data architects and scientists to abstract information into a logical and optimized knowledge base structure, enabling efficient retrieval and utilization by various models.
  • Information Management: Establish and enforce content and data governance procedures, including guidelines, version control, regulation, and rights management to maintain integrity, relevance, and compliance.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in food, culinary techniques, AI, and content management, identifying opportunities to enhance our knowledge base and maintain leadership in the industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as an Expert Food Knowledge Strategist, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Management, Communications, Journalism, Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Sufficient professional experience to demonstrate expertise in content, data, or knowledge management, preferably in the food industry or a lifestyle-related field.
  • Strong skills in sourcing, curating, abstracting, and managing large volumes of complex information.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills, working with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems, knowledge bases, or databases, with a good understanding of information architecture.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and solution critical thinking.
  • Proofreading, editing, and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience defining plans to achieve work-related objectives effectively.
  • Familiarity with AI and related concepts.
