About the Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of structures. Your expertise will be utilized to design and plan project details, as well as provide technical advice to construction workers on-site. To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with various construction methods and materials, as well as advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop structural models using computer-aided design software
  2. Conduct load and pressure measurements to ensure structural integrity
  3. Collaborate with construction workers to ensure compliance with safety guidelines
  4. Choose and specify materials based on structural specifications
  5. Monitor and supervise on-site construction processes
  6. Prepare and manage project budgets
  7. Track and report on project progress
  8. Collaborate with contractors and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
  2. Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
  3. BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering
  4. Proficiency in Prokon and MS Office
  5. Pr Eng registration with ECSA advantageous
  6. Over 10 years of experience in the structural engineering design field
