About the Home
We're looking for a Home Management Specialist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare's North Division. In this critical role, you'll drive change and improvement initiatives, working closely with the Divisional Director, Regional Director, and Line Managers to address operational challenges.
Your key responsibilities will include identifying areas for improvement through quality assurance, complaints, incidents, or accidents, and implementing solutions where possible. You'll work closely with our Business Manager to prepare annual budgets and manage sales inquiries.
As a Home Management Specialist, you'll be responsible for promoting the home in the local community, building close relationships with residents, and delivering high-quality care. Your leadership style should foster a culture of robust performance management, focusing on tackling poor performance and improving overall service delivery.
This is a challenging but rewarding role that may involve regular travel across the UK, flexible working hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, and being available by mobile phone and email while out of hours.
About You
To succeed as a Home Management Specialist, you must be a qualified Nurse with extensive experience managing a home and leading service improvements. A strong understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements, including fire, health and safety, COSHH, employment, and compliance with the relevant Acts, is essential.
