You'll work closely with senior management across Product, Pricing, Underwriting, and Claims Services, contributing to the development and execution of the broader strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop effective pricing and risk management strategies balancing profitability and growth
  • Monitor and track performance indicators
  • Create business reports driving thought processes and actions
  • Contribute to internal data asset development and maintenance supporting pricing initiatives
  • Pursue continuous process improvement and strategy evaluation
  • Participate in strategic projects requiring actuarial input
  • Support underwriting segmentations models
  • Interact with distribution and claims to incorporate market trends into product solutions
  • Support product solution development for various market segments and channels
  • Perform ad-hoc statistical analysis as required by the business
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Computer Science
  • 3-5 years' experience in general insurance, preferably
  • Advanced computer literacy skills in SAS, SQL, R, Python, or Emblem
  • Strong modelling skills, including statistical investigations and predictive model building
  • Logical and analytical ability
  • Self-starter, problem solver, and finisher
  • Good report writing and presentation skills
