About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Data Governance Lead to join our Amazon moderation team in Cape Town. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the annotated data and providing actionable insights to our science teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our annotation team and linguistic experts to develop high-quality annotation guidelines and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the annotated data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Demonstrates the ability to give overall direction, performance, coordination, and evaluation, experiences interviewing and selecting people who will maintain a high-performance bar.
  • Operational Delivery: Understands operational principles of service delivery, uses data to support continuous improvement, acts as the operational representative for business teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborates with other annotation team members, data scientists, and linguists to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing, contributes to a positive and productive work environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Business Analyst with experience working to deliver annotated training and evaluation data to train AI models, experience working with large data and Quicksights dashboards (building and modification).
