Job OverviewWe seek a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager Lead to oversee the planning, direction, and coordination of all operational and production activities of our plants.
Key Responsibilities- Business Strategy and Policy Development : Contributes to the business strategy and ensures its successful implementation at the plant level. Develops and implements policies, systems, processes, and procedures aligned with company standards and best practices.
- Planning and Execution : Formulates and executes the annual plan and budget for the plant, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Monitors performance against the budget and annual plans, exercising control over operations to achieve efficient and effective results.
- Leadership and Team Management : Provides leadership and guidance to the team, setting clear objectives, reviewing performance, and offering constructive feedback. Manages and develops a team of professionals, fostering collaboration, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Reporting and Analysis : Provides regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses to management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending opportunities for improvement. Ensures the implementation of relevant KPI's to measure plant performance against set targets.
- Quality, Safety, and Environmental Compliance : Ensures that all activities and operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements and company standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the aquaculture industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop insightful recommendations.
- Fluent Japanese (native level) and business English.
