About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety and Security Professional to join our team at DPT Recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities of the National Aviation Security Committee (NASC), Facilitation Committee, and engagement with ICAO and AFCAC workgroups.
  • Coordinate committee meetings, disseminate decisions, and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and manage logistical arrangements.
  • Collate and submit meeting reports to the appropriate aviation committees.
  • Plan and coordinate stakeholder workshops, forums, and industry engagements.
  • Maintain and track responses to ICAO and AFCAC State Letters, and update the SARPS implementation register.
  • Contribute to the development and review of regulations, procedures, and operational requirements to improve aviation security.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Relevant NQF Level 6 qualification.
  • Aviation Security training courses.

Preferrred Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Aviation Security or relevant degree.
  • 3-5 years experience in stakeholder relations or aviation committee work.
  • Aviation regulatory experience is advantageous.

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in stakeholder engagement and committee coordination.
  • Knowledge of aviation security regulations and practices.
