Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join our team in Malmesbury. As a Financial Planner, you will provide professional and relevant financial advice, planning, and products to new and existing clients. You will be responsible for growing our Sanlam Adviser Business, networking, prospecting, and generating leads. You will also be responsible for client consultations, sales, and client service.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the Sanlam Adviser Business by applying knowledge and understanding of market segmentation and customer profiles to support sales and growth within the defined market.
- Network, prospect, and generate leads through face-to-face interactions, social or business, to create business opportunities.
- Provide sound personal financial planning advice and apply financial knowledge in putting together a plan that meets the needs of the client for a balanced portfolio.
- Ensure all client interactions are ethical, courteous, and professional, and strive for excellent, value-added service to clients.
- Monitor, update, and report on activities, including number and profile of contacts, appointments, consultations, issued business, and revenue against targets.
Grade 12 and Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) "Fit and Proper" requirements and Regulatory Examination successfully completed if registered with Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for more than 24 months. Knowledge and skills in financial advice and support, production target achievement and budgeting, compliance and risk management, client relationship management, and financial planning and recommendations.
