Operational Financial Manager Job Opportunity

Network Recruitment is assisting our client, a market leader in the meat industry, in finding an experienced Operational Financial Manager. This role presents a unique chance for a skilled finance professional to drive growth and improvement in the organization's day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will possess strong financial expertise, with a solid understanding of managing product and stock levels. They will also have experience in implementing cost-saving measures and improving operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operations and financial management for product lines
  • Financial performance management for products with short lifespans
  • Product and stock level management to minimize waste and optimize turnover
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for product lines
  • Providing financial insights to support operational decision-making
  • Cost-saving measure implementation and operational efficiency improvement
  • Development and management of financial reports for operational performance visibility
  • Team leadership and mentoring for optimal performance and collaboration
  • Compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies

Requirements and Skills:

  • BCOM degree or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years of operations experience with at least 2 years in management
  • Experience in managing product and stock for short lifespan food products
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, costs, and product profitability
  • Streamlining process skills and ability to improve operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
