We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate/Principal Associate to join our Mine Water Team in Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing expertise in mine water management.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage critical mining projects nationally and internationally
- Travel and support mining clients in Africa
- Conduct field investigations, collect data, and develop plans for groundwater quantity, quality, and distribution
- Develop and supervise drilling, hydraulic testing, and sampling programs
- Analyze and interpret groundwater data, prepare reports, and conduct impact assessments
- Provide expertise in strategic mine water management, including mine dewatering, resource exploration, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor and train junior team members
- Ensure quality assurance of hydrogeology and laboratory results
- BSc (Honours) in hydrogeology with a strong background in geology and/or chemistry
- 10+ years of consulting experience in hydrogeology
- Pr Sci Nat registration
- 10 years of experience in mining and hydrogeology
- Valid driver's license and minimum 2-years driving experience
